The crew worked hard today trying to get the car handling. We were 41st after the first round of qualifying, but we decided to give it another shot and ended up 42nd. Darrell says the car seems to be better so we are hopeful that we can come away from Rockingham with a good finsih. |
The #94 will start 48th in the Carolina 500. |

Basham comes away with a 22nd place finish at The Rock |
We thought we had the handling issue fixed but boy were we wrong. Darrell fought a loose car all day long. We came close a couple of times but were able to stay out of the wrecks. Our finish was not what we had hoped to end the day with. However 22nd in this race was still respectable. We left Rockingham with a car that was still in one piece and that is more that alot of teams can say. |
The #94 car came out of the race after completing 16 laps and ended up 47th. We should see Jason in the car again forKentucky. |
